Elisabeth Accardi is the owner and founder of Upon A Star, a Massachusetts Children's Event Planning Company. During the past 12 years Elisabeth has created hundreds of memorable children's events in the Boston Area. She began her business in 1998, after her acting career in NYC. New York was a land of opportunity for her party planning business. Between acting jobs, Elisabeth found her niche creating affairs for children-at Central Park Zoo and as a party coordinator for Birthday Bakers Party Makers and FAO Schwarz demonstrating toys and organizing and helping run the first ever sleepover parties.

In 2002, after moving to Boston with her husband, Elisabeth worked as a music, movement and theater specialist at Spruce Street Nursery School and John Winthrop Nursery School as well as The Hill House and New School for Music. She soon created Upon A Star, using her unique talents and creativity teaching music, movement and arts and crafts classes in her two Boston studios. Her classes grew as she conducted Music for Aadvarks and Other Mammals, Kindermusik and Music Together classes. A year in business and waiting lists began to get into her classes. As classes grew, so did the need for children's entertainment and party planning. She began doing 45 minute music gigs for private events, playgroups and area schools...Singing and strumming along on her guitar and developing lasting relationships with her beloved clients! After 7 years she closed down her classes and focused exclusively on planning children's events (and sometimes still entertaining at them).
