If you were to sum up this birthday girl in one word it would be “Family”. A retired Kindergarten teacher and as a very special mother, wife and grandmother, Kathi’s beautiful life was celebrated at this 70th birthday bash. Surprised by her loving family and friends, from the moment she arrived, we made sure she was constantly reminded of her legacy and special life memories. We loved creating (and doing research) for her 70th birthday wall and filled it with memorable toys of the decades. Onsite we had a sketch artist draw families in attendance. The “Kids Area” designed especially for her grandchildren had red school birdhouses (she has a special bond with birds) as centerpieces and guests made their very own Baseball Raglans with our Pop Shop Activity Stations. Poolside, a surprise shaved ice cart cooled off guests thru the day. Her beautiful cake was reflective of her two parents she had lost, but felt a strong connection with thru two cardinals that continually visit her. The centerpieces filled with bright yellow Sunflowers and stunning Blue Hydrangea represent her sunny disposition, love of life and belief there is good in this world. A beautiful clambake was reminiscent of her days at the beach and memories she shared and still shares with her family. There were so many details all along the way, but thru this event, Kathi was hugged, loved and forever cherished as the person who has single handedly changed and touched so many lives.
